Mr. Thirunavukkarasu S (ST) began his engineering career in 1991 and joined Sundram Fasteners Limited (SFL) in 1994, where he served for 12 years. A diploma graduate in electrical engineering, he built deep technical expertise by maintaining surface treatment processes and plant operations. Over time, he was part of the installation and commissioning team for surface treatment plants across India and China, laying the groundwork for his future in equipment manufacturing.

At SFL, ST was a key contributor to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) certification efforts alongside Japanese certification bodies, and implemented over 150+ Kaizens, demonstrating his relentless focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

In 2006, he founded Suntech Energreen, driven by a vision to create automated, high-performance surface treatment systems for India’s evolving industrial needs. Today, Suntech serves leading manufacturers like SFL, Sterling Tools, Hamilton, Deepak Fasteners, and Aurolab.

ST’s leadership and domain expertise have earned him recognition across the industry, including an invitation to speak as a technical panelist at the CII Surface & Coating Expo 2020.
